New Member Information

If you are looking for the phone number and/or address of any WGC member, this information is available on Golf Genius after you are logged in.  In addition, a hard copy of member contact info will be handed out at the annual Spring Brunch for those who  prefer a paper copy.   We no longer provide a Members Only website with this information.

Join the WGC

To join the WGC, new members should register on Golf Genius via this portal.  Dues payment should be mailed to our Membership Chair as listed on the form.

Handicaps 

To be eligible to participate in WGC weekly events, new members must be registered or obtain a handicap in the GHIN system. Bella Vista moved to a new handicap system, (GHIN) starting January 1st 2022. WGC members are required to sign up for GHIN at the Golf Office any time after December 1. The GHIN discounted rate is $30.00 per member and is to be paid directly at the Golf Office.  A GHIN handicap will be necessary to play in the BVWGC and must be available before signing up for first play date.

New Members without a GHIN handicap, bring three (3) scorecards to the Golf Office when you sign up for GHIN. Once your handicap is established, enter all of your scores into the GHIN system except BVWGC scores. These will be posted by the WGC Scoring Committee.  You must have a GHIN handicap to be eligible to participate in BVWGC weekly prizes.

 If you have a handicap in another system, please include that handicap and the slope, rating, last five scores and state of the course on which you received your handicap.

 After a handicap number is assigned to you, please enter all of your scores as they accumulate. (All WGC scores from League Play will be posted by the Scoring Committee.)  Scores can be posted either online or at computers in the various pro shops.
