2011 ... Nancy Gross

2011 Inductee  Nancy Gross
At the 2011 Fall meeting of the Women's Golf Club, Nancy Gross was inducted into the newly established BVWGC Hall of Fame. Nancy has been a member of the WGC for close to 20 years. Within that time she transitioned from a beginning golfer to a four-consecutive-years Club Champion. Additionally, Nancy served as the 1998 WGC President; was Northwest Arkansas Representative for 9 years, initiating the NWA BV Invitational Tournament; chaired or served on nearly every committee in this organization. She was selected to the POA Joint Advisory Committee for Golf as an active and respected contributing member of the Bella Vista golfing community. Nancy has been busy, yes, but never too busy to be a mentor, sounding board, an invaluable resource to us individually and collectively as well as a persuasive advocate for the WGC and all Women's golf in the Village.

In Nancy's spare time, she works at the Country Club ProShop, plays golf with friends and husband Bill, and she trains their black lab, Molly, to be a therapy dog and performer for Senior Citizen homes and hospitals.

As the first recipient of this prestigious award, Nancy Gross has been a true ambassador for the WGC and contributed greatly not only to our Women's Golf Club experience and growth, but to that of all Bella Vista Golfers.
